Recycling for Autism It is certainly true that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Autism Advocates of Indiana, Inc. (AAI) has joined with remanufacturing company Planet Green to recycle printer cartridges and cell phones, while making money for Autism. Every time you donate a cartridge or old mobile phone, AAI will earn cash. When cell phones and cartridges are thrown away they end up
in landfill sites where they can cause pollution – as they slowly break down,
chemicals can leak into the surrounding soil. By recycling them, you protect the
environment. So put your old mobile phones, inkjet and toner printer cartridges to one side. You can contact AAI at aaiwalk@aaiwalk.org to receive a collection box to be a drop off location, or visit one of the locations below to drop off cartridges and cell phones. If you are unable to do either, save your cartridges and bring them to the 2008 Answers for Autism Walk!
